What is art and what makes art become art? A difficult question that I won’t try to answer in this short post. One thing however that qualifies most objects we regard as “art” in our general understanding is the way it is displayed, such as a gallery or museum. In my opinion, also the way art is displayed is an art of it’s own.
Below you will see a small gallery of pictures that are very much unlike my usual works: still life interior architecture photography in a square format. These images were taken inside the Neue Pinakothek, a famous art gallery in Munich.
These images show paintings but they are not about the painting. It’s about the abstraction of an already abstract scenery in it’s own beautiful composition. Photographing art can be an art of it’s own. Enjoy!
